Trains depart from Paddington to Oxford very frequently. Usual departures are every 15 to 30 minutes from Paddington to Oxford and vice versa, although consult a train timetable for more information.

Oxford Rail Station is open Monday - Sunday 24 hours, but the ticket office is open between 05:45 and 20:00 Monday to Friday, and around 07:30 to 20:00 at weekends.

A few shops and cafes are available at the Oxford station, as well as cash machines, telephones and public WiFi.

There is a taxi rank at Oxford Rail Station, although the station is situated close to central Oxford, no more than 10 minutes walk to the main shops.
